AURORA GIVES SCHOLARS
The Aurora Gives Scholars program was created to provide select graduating high school seniors with debt-free access to an Associate Degree from the Community College of Aurora (CCA). The Scholarship will fund the cost of tuition, books and fees through completion of an Associate Degree at CCA, and provide students with a Chromebook, providing they forego federal loans during their enrollment in the program.

General Scholarships
CCA Foundation scholarships are awarded each academic year and offer students the opportunity to earn an associate degree or its equivalent, establish eligibility to transfer to a four-year institution, or certify in a vocation that provides a family-sustaining wage. Scholarship beneficiaries range from working students to those specializing in specific fields such as math, art and the health occupations.

COSI Scholarship:
The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) was created for students that are enrolled in a college course, pursuing a program certificate, or degree program. Scholarship Initiative support is available for Colorado students who qualify for a Pell grant and participate in a degree-seeking program, while completing all coursework with a C or better to remain eligible. Scholarship covers the cost of tuition, fees, and books.
Eligibility Criteria:
Have a completed Financial Aid Application on file with CCA (FAFSA)
Be seeking Degree or Certificate completion at CCA
Be classified as a Colorado Resident for tuition purposes
Be classified as a US Citizen
Be within 250% of PELL eligibility based on the determined Estimated Family Contribution (EFC)
Fall-To-Fall Summer Scholarship: (Summer Opportunity Only)
Fall-to-Fall Summer Scholarship was created to support the college’s goal of facilitating student retention from fall semester to fall semester by supporting the student’s ability to take courses in the summer.
The Fall to Fall scholarship was launched in Summer 2015. In order to qualify, students needed to have attended CCA in the prior fall and spring semesters, be enrolled to take courses during the summer, and commit to re-enrolling in the Fall 2017 semester.
Eligibility Criteria:
Have been enrolled for both Fall 2016 and Spring
Be enrolled in minimum of 6 hours for Summer 17
Show intent to enroll in a minimum of 6 hours for Fall 17
Meet general FA requirements including MAP/SAP
May be pell or non-pell eligible
