Our Partners

As an independent 501(c)(3) organization and the official fundraising foundation for the Community College of Aurora (CCA), the CCA Foundation partners with donors in providing philanthropic support to build a great community college.  The CCA Foundation embraces its responsibility to inspire philanthropy and is committed to following the highest standards and ethics in managing donors’ donations for the benefit of the college.

The CCA Foundation proudly recognizes the following partners who are dedicated to increasing affordable access to higher education:

Anschutz Foundation

In partnership with the Anschutz Foundation, the CCA Foundation awarded eight one-semester scholarships for the Spring 2015 semester to students who demonstrated both uncommon financial need and academic promise.  The Anschutz Foundation/CCA Foundation scholarships covered costs of tuition and fees for 15 credits of instruction, as well as most – if not all – expenses associated with books and supplies.

BakerHostetler, one of the nation’s largest law firms, represents clients around the globe.  The firm was founded on three core principles: to develop and sustain mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with each of its clients; to provide timely, responsive, and high quality legal services; and to be generous with both time and money to the communities where we work.  We distinguish ourselves through our commitment to the highest standard of client care. By emphasizing an approach to service delivery as exacting as our legal work, we are determined to surpass our clients’ expectations.

Kaiser Permanente

In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the CCA Foundation awarded nine one-semester scholarships for the Spring 2015 semester to students studying in the health sciences field.  With the Kaiser Permanente/CCA Foundation scholarship, preference was given to create ethnic, cultural and gender diversity among scholarship recipients.  Additional special preference was given to first generation and low socioeconomic status students.
