Together We Can Make a Difference!

Did you know you could help specific programs at the college simply by hosting a third party event? Our new third party fundraising initiative, allows businesses to support educational initiatives that fit their values and philanthropic focus.

Forty-percent more CCA students complete a degree when they receive multi-semester scholarships. Additionally, when specific departments are supported this allows you to remain directly engaged with what is important to you and your organization.

Supporting is easy. There are several different ways to host a fundraiser collaborating with the CCA Foundation to support the academic program or scholarship of your choice.

  • Party With A Purpose
  • Happy Hours
  • Facebook fundraisers
  • Golf Tournaments

These are all ways you can create your own fundraiser to help support our students on their path to economic prosperity.

If you are interested or have an idea for an event, please contact Lynn Adams at 303-361-7416 or lynn.adams@ccaurora.edu.

Why Scholarships Matter

“I feel like there is no solution to this. By the end of graduate school I owed over $150,000 in student loan debt and with my on time payments, my balance is now over $200,000.”
“For me,” she adds, “As the oldest of three there was no possible way for my single mother to fund all of my education. I had to do things the best way I knew how.” While there is no immediate solution, the Community College of Aurora (CCA) Foundation has begun to seek alternatives to assist students. Through our premier scholarship program Aurora Gives, CCA Foundation has already created a debt- free path to an associate’s degree for more than thirty students.

2019 Community College of Aurora Foundation Luncheon

Thanks to the support of last year’s sponsors, we were able to raise over $120,000 to support student scholarships and student experiences like CCA’s award-winning Model United Nation’s team. Your generosity last year is helping CCA students need to complete their certificate or degree this year.

Have you heard of the multi- Emmy® Award Winning reality show Shark Tank that has reinvigorated entrepreneurship in America? In collaboration with CCA’s Entrepreneurship Launch Program, the CCA Foundation invites you to play a role of Fox instead of Shark and help change the lives of three of our CCA entrepreneurial students.

We are excited to announce the theme of this year’s luncheon. This year’s theme will be the “Fox Den.”

Luncheon guests will participate in an interactive experience where the audience helps award seed grants totaling $7,500 to three of CCA’s entrepreneurship students.

To become a sponsor or purchase a ticket, please visit our website www.auroragives.org or contact Lynn Adams at 303-361-7416 or by email at lynn.adams@ccaurora.edu.

You will not want to miss this event!
