As Colorado is faced with rebuilding its economy, 85% of employers say that the skills gap is a threat to their business. The Community College of Aurora (CCA) provides immediate solutions to employers’ workforce needs through its more than 100 industry certification, certificate, and degree programs.
Thanks to partners like you, CCA Foundation is awarding more than $550,000 per year to assist students to stay on the path to a college credential. Your support allows us to offer hope and opportunity to students through scholarship and program support. More than money, together, we are offering endless possibilities to a better future for each student.
Unfortunately, during the pandemic 1,757 CCA students stopped-out of college even though they had just 15 or fewer credits remaining to earn their credential.
Join us on April 30th for the 2021 Scholarship Luncheon and help us launch CCA’s Return to Earn Initiative that will assist college stop-outs to re-engage, re-enroll, complete a credential, and re-enter the workforce. The luncheon will be virtual this year, but we promise you will not be feeling Zoom-fatigue after this event. As always, you can look forward to an engaging, interactive, and inspiring lunch-time event. Be prepared for some hands-on virtual fun as you experience a taste of what college is like at CCA.
